Sometimes a moment can last forever; other times, days slip by unnoticed.

Joonas, Karit, Doris, and Fred are seven years old and about to begin their first year of school. They live in different parts of Estonia, attend different schools, and each has a unique personality. Yet time moves the same way around them all.
During their first school year, they must adapt to many new things—early morning wake-ups, endless learning, new responsibilities, and social dynamics in the classroom.

The documentary Time is here follows these four children through their first year at school—but not only that. It is a film about children, time, and Estonia.
